  3. Research Tools

Having the necessary tools is required to conduct research, medical and technologic included. While sometimes these tools are hard to find or to get access to, some institutions have made their tools available online for the scientific community to use freely.

The research instruments, journals, and citations are necessary for any advancement that is to be made in the medical field and fields of science related to medical progress. Having all of these available electronically, online, is a way to open up possibilities for the researchers around the world when they may be otherwise unable to get their resources.

The benefits from these tools are felt beyond the medical community and academia. The end users of medical services are the main beneficiaries of the research that is conducted with the aid of readily available online research tools.
